This week RHC would like to recognize Ahmia Strong for her outstanding efforts in our first week of conditioning camp. Not only does she give her all, but she also pushes her squad mates to do the same. Her dedication and motivation set the standard for what it means to represent the RHC LEGEND brand. Way to go Mia!

This week RHC would like to recognize Ivory Randall (Varsity) and Aryana Wesley (Junior Varsity) for their outstanding efforts in our second week of conditioning camp. As we continue to ramp up reps and intensify our workouts, they have risen to meet and exceed our expectations every step of the way. This is the type of dedication it takes to be a LEGEND! So hats off to Ivory and Arryanna for stepping up and pushing through conditioning camp.

Motivation corner

This week RHC would like to recognize Shekinah Figgers (Varsity) for her hard work in our third week. Everyday she showed up giving outstanding effort and pushing her squad mates to do the same. As we work on increasing our mental and physical capacity, we can look to Shekinah as an example of how to push through and get it done without complaint. Her desire to constantly improve is what makes her a LEGEND. Go Shekinah!

In our final week of conditioning, all of the punishment exercises increase and this young lady stayed committed for every set. She dug deep and fought through the burn (and tears) to become the Legend of the Week. Her determination is proof that in tough situations you can make it through with mind over matter. We couldn't be more proud. Awesome job Kawanza!

Healthy meals for the Month

This month's healthy meal comes to us from Kailah Brown. Served best hot, this healthy breakfast sandwich is sure to hold you over til' lunch.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Egg

  • 2 slices of Turkey Bacon 

  • 1 bagel ( Thomas Bagel Thin brand recommended) 

Directions:

1. Cook your turkey bacon in a frying pan 

2. Cook your egg white in the frying pan like you would a regular omlette. (Your egg white will be all the contents of the egg EXCEPT for the yolk.) I usually put a small amount -maybe a pinch of salt and pepper into the egg white for flavor.

3. Warm your bagel in a microwave or microwave oven. 

4. Put them all together. (Bottom bagel, egg white, turkey bacon, top bagel and enjoy!

Congratulations to our new rhc leadership

These ladies really stepped up this week and did an awesome job on their first sideline performance for rhc! Arry hit all her stunts and whipped her full downs to perfection! Janiyah was a stand out as well as the only new cheerleader to make it past "shake the tree"! Way to go ladies continue you give it your all this season like a true #legend! 

This month rhc had several young ladies who really stepped up. they have  continued to push themselves in and out of practice! congrats to phylecia, diamond, Zenani and ivory for performing better and better each day! their dedication in and out of practice shows! far from basic, these ladies are LEGENDARY! congratulate these ladies, our rhc legends of the month!
